According to a video posted on Valve’s popular STEAM game distribution service titled “Free Yourself”, Half Life 2 is coming to Mac users on 5/26/10. The 34-second preview shows Alyx, Gordon Freeman’s partner throughout the series, run from a squad of combine soldiers, then hurl a crowbar at a screen of Dr. Breen giving a presentation. Half Life 2 Coming to Mac Owners Tommorow
STEAM has just launched it’s integrated Mac support. Dubbed “Steamplay”, the feature will allow users who purchase (or currently own) eligible titles for the PC to have playable copies on the Mac (and vice versa) as well. To celebrate the launch of Steamplay, Valve has released their award-winning first-person puzzle game, Portal, for free until May 24th.
